Primarily known for his image transfer works on wood panel. Fine art photographer Patrick Lajoie’s images are infused with a warmth in both hue and texture, created by the golden cast of the wood as well as the delicate wood grain apparent beneath paler areas of pigment. Through his work Patrick seeks to explore themes of colour and light as well as the emotions sparked by nostalgia and remembrance. Born and raised in

London, Ontario Patrick studied fine art at Ontario College of Art in Toronto in the late 1980’s. His works are held in private and corporate collections across Canada, the United States and Europe.
